Parrot Hope Rescue is a non-profit organization based in Mantua OH. They are holding their 2nd annual Open House at their sanctuary. Please join them September 29th from 12 PM to 4 PM at 11195 Bowen Rd in Mantua. There will be information about adoption, volunteering and fostering opportunities as well as tours, raffles, lunch, a Wing and Nail Clinic where your birds can be brought in for grooming, and a presentation about parrot behavior. Activities: Tours of the sanctuary, behavior presentation (to help correct behavioral issues), wing and nail clinic (the public can bring their personal birds to have their wings and nails for a small fee), birds toys and accessories will be available for sale, organization and volunteering information, lunch (vegetarian options available as well), raffles, and we will have "Pictures with Parrots" where anyone can come get their picture taken with the birds. This is a FREE event to the public.
