Birthday wishes to Swedish American composer and keyboardist Jonathan Fritzén who celebrates today (October 11).  Jonathan was born in Stockholm to a Swedish mother and an American father.  He grew up in a musical family and as a young child started playing drums.  He later added piano, bass, guitar, flute and vocals and studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm where he became one of the first students to receive a Masters degree in Jazz.  He released his debut album Love Birds in 2008, followed by VIP in 2009 and Diamonds in 2010.  His current release, Magical, features guest artists Boney James, Darren Rahn, Paul Brown, Jackiem Joyner, Vincent Ingala and Danish singer Malene Mortensen.  Jonathan will be performing in Reno, NV on October 24 and plans to celebrate his 30th Birthday Bash on October 27 at Spaghettini's in Seal Beach, CA.
