    Herb Alpert, Alicia Keys, John Legend and Katy Perry are all on board to pay tribute to legendary singer-songwriter Carole King.  The concert dubbed "You've Got A Friend - A Live Celebration of Carole King and Her Music" is set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA on December 4.  King is planning to take the stage as well, joining additional performers like Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Lani Hall and Quincy Jones.  The proceeds from the concert will benefit the late Paul Newman's Painted Turtle Camp for kids with serious illnesses and their families.  The Turtle Camp offers a camp and hospital program year-round for these families.

The sets main essay by musicologist Dr. Andrew Flory tells the long-overlooked story behind the album, while various sidebar and additional essays include commentary from film directors Cameron Crowe and George Tillman Jr., and artists Lenny Kravitz, Joni Mitchell and Christian McBride.  The set will be released on November 13 and the full track listing is available
